Ryan Hardgrave is a Partner at Insgroup, A Baldwin Risk Partner. He specializes in Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty Insurance for middle-market companies across the state of Texas and surrounding regions. In this role, Ryan is responsible for sales and the organic growth of the San Antonio office.
Starting his career in 2004 while still attending the University of Texas at San Antonio, Ryan has 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. He spent his first decade building his own insurance agency which he sold to Wortham Insurance in 2015. Wortham at the time was the largest, privately owned agency in the State of Texas. Wortham recently sold to Marsh and McLennan Companies and after staying on for 4 years as a managing director, Ryan is ready to jump back into an agency building mode using his network and carrier relationships to build out an Insgroup office in San Antonio.
Ryan married his college sweetheart, Tracy, and they have 3 handsome and athletic boys. They are a baseball family that regularly travels all over the state competing in youth tournaments. A few fun facts…. Ryan is a 3rd generation Eagle Scout and a 3-time World Finalist in the sport of Long Drive. His longest drive in competition was 400 yards. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his boys on the ball fields, hunting, fishing, and taking trips with his family.
