Tommy Harris is the President of Employee Benefits at Insgroup, A Baldwin Risk Partner, and oversees Insgroup’s Employee Benefits practice with responsibility for all aspects of development and delivery of benefits services. Under Tommy’s leadership, this pillar of Insgroup’s service offerings has become one of Houston’s largest independent consulting practices for organizations seeking employee benefits.
About Tommy
A native of Arlington, TX, Tommy’s entire professional career has been within the insurance industry while working for three Texas-based firms. He joined Insgroup in 2018 through the firm’s partnership with the Fred Brown Insurance Brokerage and immediately became President of Insgroup’s practice. As a Managing Partner with Fred Brown for 22 years, he was successful in delivering customized employee benefit programs for corporate and non-profit organizations of all sizes.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Christian University and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Boston University. Tommy received the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) at Wharton School.
